Gene Bowan has been a Senior Financial Advisor with Zuk Financial Group since 1994 and is located in Lake Forest, California. An Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) for National Planning Corporation, Gene holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 licenses. He is also licensed with the California Department of Insurance for Life, Disability, Long-term Care Insurance and Variable Annuities.   Through his investment advisory and financial planning practice, Gene represents a complete spectrum of mutual fund families, stocks, bonds, annuities and life insurance related programs. As an IAR, Gene offers both institutionally managed programs to his clients as well as fee based consulting.

Gene combines his degree in accounting with over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, providing investment and retirement planning services to both individuals and businesses.   Gene thoroughly enjoys his role assisting his clients in analyzing all the information necessary to develop a personalized financial plan.

A specialist in retirement planning, Gene is frequently invited to present educational seminars for schools, colleges, and education professional organizations. Gene has developed extensive knowledge in the Public Employee Retirement System (PERS) and the State Teacher Retirement System (STRS).   He also does seminars on investment and retirement planning for small businesses and non-profit organizations. Gene has earned a reputation for explaining difficult subjects in a style that is easily understood.

Gene and his wife Pam reside in Laguna Niguel. A charity that is very dear to them is the Exotic Feline Breeding Compound, a group working with many species of endangered big cats.
